Dr. Gerald Simmons
 SIMMONS DENTAL CARE IS COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE. That's why Dr. Gerald makes sure all his patients receive the best possible care.
Dr. Gerald graduated from the University of Southern California in 1977. He received his dental training from the University of London graduating in 1981. He became a dentist because of his desire to help people. "All dental care should be a comfortable, rewarding experience and I will do whatever I can to make sure it is."
Dr. Gerald stays current in all fields of dentistry through his many continuation education courses. He is fully experienced in all phases of general dentistry including cosmetics, crown and bridge, endodontics, Invisalign braces, periodontics and "anchor tite" dentures.. "Staying current allows me to offer the best dentistry has to offer."
Dr. Gerald is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, California Dental Association and the San Fernando Dental Society. He is licensed to practice dentistry in England, France, Germany, and the other European countries. He practiced in Beverly Hills before coming full-time to Palmdale. He has been in Palmdale since 1981. "One of my greatest pleasures I have as a dentist is getting to know my patients as people. I don't agree with the current trend of depersonalization in the health professions that has occured with the boom of the HMO's and PPO's. Time spent talking with patients is not 'wasted time'."
Dr. Gerald has been married for 28 years and has 2 daughters, 2 cats and a chinchilla. In his spare time he writes novels.
Dr. Michael Simmons
 Dr. Michael Simmons loves dentistry and has devoted his adult life to this field in areas of clinical expertise in treating patients, research, learning and teaching. Dr. Simmons received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. He has completed a two year preceptorship/fellowship at UCLA in Pain Medicine, TMJ and Orofacial Pain. He has been a lecturer and course cochair at UCLAs dental school in the Department of Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain since 1987. Additionally, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor at USC. Dr. Simmons maintains two private practices with focus on TMJ, Orofacial Pain and Sleep Disordered Breathing conditions, as well as cosmetic and general dentistry. He is a Diplomate, American Board of Orofacial Pain, a Fellow in Pain Management at the UCLA School of Medicine, and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He was the 2001 Dental Chair of LASS (Los Angeles Sleep Society).

I am active in many areas of Dentistry including teaching and lecturing other dentists, am a well known and respected dentist in the community. I always strive to give the patient what it best for THEM. This includes cosmetic dentistry, implants, management of TMJ disorders or reconstruction if that is what is in their best interest."
Dr. Michael Simmons is committed to providing the most gentle available dental care. He resides in West L.A. with his wife and three children.
Dr. Louis Simmons
 Dr. Louis Simmons wants all his patients to enjoy the highest possible standard of dental health.
With over 45 years experience in all phases of dentistry, including general anesthesia, oral surgery, orthodontics, full mouth reconstruction, implants and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Louis is able to offer his patients the best choices for attaining the highest level of dental health. "Along with my treatment recommendations, I always explain the alternatives available, along with their advantages and disadvantages. That way my patients can help in choosing the treatment they feel will benefit them the most."
He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Academy of Transplants and Implants.
Dr. Louis has practiced in Great Britain, Canada and the USA He has dental degrees from the University of London and from U. S. C. He has taught at both of these universities, and takes a huge number of hours of continuing education each year to remain on the cutting edge of dentistry.
Dr. Louis really cares about his patients. " I will do everything possible to remove all the discomfort and unpleasantness from the dental experience whether is be the use of topical anesthesia, nitrous oxide (laughing gas ), oral sedation, intramuscular sedation, intravenous sedation, general anesthesia or hypnosis."
Dr. Louis and his wonderful staff ( many of whom have been with him for many years ) try to ensure that your financial commitments and payment plans are explained fully before treatment is commenced.
Dr. Louis is extremely concerned with patient safety. " I am trained in both basic and advanced cardiac life support. We sterilize all instruments and handpieces with autoclaves and multiple barrier techniques are used in all operatories."
Dr. Louis treats his patients like friends and family. He has been in this office since 1981 and enjoys working in the friendly relaxed atmosphere. He always considers the patients best interest and never refuses to help in an emergency.
Dr. Louis has been married for 52 years and lives in the San Fernando Valley with his wife Maureen ( the mother of Dr. Gerald, Dr. Michael, and our non dentist son, David ) and Akita dog Bebe. He is an enthusiastic tennis player and sports fan.
